How your roster gets graded
We pull your actual roster and run it through the Edge value model — the same engine behind SharperSunday's trade evaluator and power rankings. Your league's format is detected automatically: superflex vs. 1QB, PPR, TE-premium, and team count all change what your players are worth, so two managers with the same players can get different grades in different leagues.
Playing on ESPN? Switch the connect to ESPN and paste your league ID — the number after leagueId= in your league's URL — or the whole link, then pick your team. Your ESPN league has to be viewable by anyone; ESPN's private leagues need a login we deliberately never ask for, so make yours viewable in ESPN's league settings or use a Sleeper name instead. Everything after that is identical: same players, same Edge values, same grades.
Each position gets its own letter grade based on your starters' quality relative to the rest of your league, then those roll up into an overall grade. We surface your single biggest strength and your biggest weakness so you know exactly where to attack the trade market.
You also get two more grades in the same report: your most-recent draft (your best steal and worst reach) and where you rank in your league power ranking — all from one connect.

Frequently asked questions
How does the dynasty team grade work?
Enter your Sleeper username and pick a league. We pull your real roster from Sleeper and grade every position against the in-house Edge value model — auto-detecting your league's format (superflex/1QB, PPR, TE-premium, team count). You get an overall letter grade plus a grade for each position, and your single biggest strength and weakness.
Do I need to sign up or connect anything?
No. The grade is instant and requires no login — just your public Sleeper username. Sleeper's data is public, so nothing is shared. The deeper AI breakdown (every player, your win window, trade targets) is what a free account unlocks.
Is this accurate for my scoring settings?
Yes. We read your league's actual roster slots and scoring from Sleeper and recompute Edge values for that exact format, so a superflex PPR grade differs from a 1QB standard grade — just like it should.
Can I grade an ESPN league instead of Sleeper?
Yes. Switch the connect to ESPN, paste your league ID (the number after leagueId= in your league's URL) or the whole link, pick the season, then pick your team. The league has to be viewable by anyone — ESPN's private leagues need a login we deliberately never ask for, so make the league viewable in ESPN's league settings or use a Sleeper name instead. Every ESPN player is matched to the same player data behind the Sleeper grade, so the roster and league grades read the same; the draft grade appears only when ESPN reports a completed snake or linear draft for that season.
What are Edge values?
Edge is SharperSunday's in-house dynasty value model, trained nightly on real trade and market data. It's the same engine that powers the app's trade evaluator, power rankings, and win-window tools.
